We took our pheras on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, at 7:30 PM, under the stars by the Ganges. The count has not stopped since.

The celebrations

  1. Haldi

    Turmeric, marigolds and laughter on the riverside lawn. Wear yellow, and something you will not mind getting a little haldi on.

  2. Engagement

    The rings, exchanged at golden hour on the river terrace, with both our families around us.

  3. Shaadi

    The baraat arrives at sundown. Pheras at 7:30 PM, under the stars, around the sacred fire.
